Le fin du semestre

I am finally done with junior year!  Scary.  I am officially a senior in college.  Not sure how I feel about that...

All my finals went fine.  Yesterday, I got my two education finals back and did very well on both!  I had my conversation final as well, and had to discuss how I think the United States should reduce plastic waste.  It went pretty well, too!

We had an "au revoir" meeting at 6:30pm.  It finally hit me that I am leaving on Saturday.  I was a little sad and even started to tear up.  So bittersweet....

Our meeting at least was followed by a delicious couscous and Mediterranean dinner at Aux Oliviers.  I ate so much!  We first had some bread and different little dips.  I wasn't too sure what they all were, but they tasted good!  They brought out some warm pita bread as well.  Yum.  Then, we got two big plates of couscous for the table, lamb kebabs, chicken, sausage, and kefta.  Everything was great, especially the wine!  For dessert, we had tiramisu.  I really liked it!  First time I ever tried it.  Overall, it was a great night with great people.  Still sad to say goodbye...

My grammar final was this morning and I think it went pretty well.  There were only about 4 I was unsure of out of 45 or something.  So I'm pretty confident!  Plus, my average is a 19/20 anyways...not concerned :)

I was happy to find out that a 9/20 is still passing in the French grading system.  Not that I got a 9 in any of my classes, but I am now completely sure that I passed them all.  Hip hip hooray!

I went shopping after my final for some Desperados, my favorite beer here.  I also had to buy tons of candy to bring home.  Everything is better in Paris.  I am almost done packing, and should be able to finish most of that up today.  I'm also going to watch tons of movies since I'm tired and the weather is a bit weird.  It just randomly starts POURING.  So much for springtime in Paris...

QUATRE JOURS jusqu'à ce que je retourne!
