Il n'y a que les montagnes qui ne se rencontrent jamais.

My two favorite people in the whole entire world are coming in exactly two weeks! I couldn't be more excited.

Yesterday, Danielle and I went to see the movie Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close.  It was really good, but super sad.  I was so zoned out after the movie that I got lost going to my metro stop.  I was walking and crossed a few streets and then realized I had no idea where I was....oops.  Ended up in three different arrondissements within 5 minutes!  Only me...

Today for architecture class, we took a tour of The Marais district.  It was a really nice neighborhood.  I can't wait to go back again.  It is a very diverse area where all different types of people live.  Very chic.  In class, we studied old mansion houses, so we got to see some in the Marais!  Most of them are converted to different structures; the oldest fire house in Paris, a museum, offices, the National Archives of Paris, etc.  We also went to a Jesuit church, St. Paul.  We're going to go to mass there on Sunday night.  It was a beautiful church inside and had a very high dome on the top.  We had a long tour today, but luckily the weather was incredible.  It wasn't as warm as it was at home, but still a great day!  Looking forward to Paris in the springtime.  Hopefully that's right around the corner...

I have a lot of work for school coming up, but mostly everything will be due by the time my parents get here! So I really hope these two weeks go quickly!  'Til then, it's off to Germany!

Happy International Women's Day!
Found this gem in the 'Direct Matin' today...
