The man at the counter for the Pompidou was very rude, but I got my free ticket to the museum anyways. I really enjoyed the museum. Probably my favorite one so far. It is a museum of modern art, and we started with art from 1960 through the present. That part was my favorite.
Then, we went upstairs to the older modern art...from 1905-1960. It was very interesting as well, but I definitely prefer the 'modern' modern art!
A good visit, indeed. After the museum, we walked FOREVER to find this special cafe, Angelina's. Good thing it was far away since we consumed a lot of calories! Angelina's hot chocolate is voted the best in Paris, so of course, we had to try it. It was packed at 4pm on a Tuesday afternoon, so we knew it had to be good. It seemed as if it was an old house, converted into a restaurant/bakery. It was beautiful inside and you could tell right away that it was so very classy! Just how I like it ;) And words just don't do justice to how GREAT the hot chocolate was. Very rich and thick, it is unbelievable...we had to splurge and got some chocolate cake, as well. Living the life.
